Pricing Guide
At Summit Plumbing & Heating Solutions, we believe customers should understand how our pricing works before booking. Some services have fixed prices, some are charged by appointment time, and larger works are quoted individually after assessment.
All prices shown are inclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise.
Call-out / appointment charges
Standard appointment charges
Our standard appointments are charged from:
Standard plumbing, heating or boiler repair appointment:
£98.40 including VAT for the first hour
This includes attendance, investigation and labour for minor repairs where possible within the booked time.
Additional time, parts, materials, return visits and larger works are charged separately.
Additional time: After the first hour £24.60 including VAT will be charged in 15-minute increments
Parts and materials: Charged separately
Larger works: quoted separately before proceeding
Priority appointments
For customers who require faster attendance, priority appointments may be available where scheduling allows.
Priority Appointment, Local Area: £132 including VAT
Priority Appointment, Extended Area: £174 including VAT
The appointment price includes attendance and initial investigation or fault finding for up to the first hour.
Parts, materials, additional labour, return visits and further repairs are not included and will be quoted separately before proceeding.
Priority appointments are subject to availability, location and engineer scheduling. We will confirm the correct appointment type and price before booking.
Boiler service prices
Standard Boiler Service: £75 including VAT
Annual boiler service including visual inspection, operational checks, working pressure checks, condensate trap clean where applicable and flue gas analysis.
Boiler Service Plus: £126 including VAT (Recommended before winter)
Includes the Standard Boiler Service plus heating system checks, radiator bleeding where required, heating controls check and magnetic filter clean where fitted.
Advanced Boiler Service: £168 including VAT labour only
A more detailed boiler service including internal cleaning where suitable and required. Manufacturer-specific gaskets, seals or service kits are not included and will be charged separately.
Gas service prices
Landlord/Homeowner Gas Safety Check / CP12: £84 including VAT
For one gas appliance. Additional appliances charged separately.
Additional gas appliance: £36 including VAT per appliance
Boiler installation pricing
Every boiler installation is different, so we provide fixed quotations following a survey.
The final price can depend on:
Boiler type and brand
Flue position
Heating controls
System condition
Gas pipework requirements
Condensate route
Hot water requirements
Magnetic filter and system protection
Whether a system clean or MagnaCleanse Rapid Flush is recommended
Any upgrades required to comply with current regulations

Finance options may also be available on new boiler installations, subject to status, application and lender approval.
Larger quoted works
Some jobs require a written quotation rather than a standard appointment charge.
This may include:
Boiler installations
Radiator installations
Heating system flushing
Pipework alterations
Bathroom or kitchen plumbing works
Cylinder works
Multiple repairs in one property
Jobs requiring specialist parts
Works requiring more than one visit
For quoted works, we will assess the job and provide a clear written quotation before proceeding.
Out-of-hours appointments
Monday to Friday, 6pm to 11pm: £198 including VAT
Saturday, 8am to 11pm: £240 including VAT
Sunday, 8am to 11pm: £240 including VAT
Out-of-hours appointment charges include attendance and initial investigation or fault finding for up to the first hour.
Parts, materials, additional labour, return visits and further repairs are charged separately.
Out-of-hours appointments are subject to availability and location. The price will always be confirmed before booking.
